Aside from the type of stainless, the machined undercuts and all the other gizmo that are part of the back of the clubhead the trend to shorter hosels in the future will make it very difficult to do any bending at all.

The cost of casting each lie would be prohibitive. The TA had a 3 bar indicator on the hosel that showed the 3 different lie option they could be had in. I only ran across the middle bar standart on the shelves though. TaylorMade's RocketBallz irons are built progressively throughout the set.
